Boost is a 12-week youth employability and enterprise programme for 16-24 year olds. The programme is designed to provide practical hands-on business projects that align with participants interests and career aspirations, including the option to launch a self-employed career.

The projects are real-life and thus provide an engaging and accessible opportunity to build their CV, as well as develop skills and confidence, and has had an 89% success rate at helping participants to secure a positive onward route.

This voluntary role supports our Programme Lead to run the experiential development sessions, supporting up to three young people to complete employability exercises. The programme is split into three modules and volunteers are asked to volunteer for either one module (four weeks) or across all three (twelve weeks).

The volunteer must be a patient, inclusive, resilient, flexible and creative person who thrives when working as part of a small team to bring about a big difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

Due to the nature of our work, you will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check every 3 years and go through our
safer recruitment checks and training in line with our safeguarding policy, which can be found on their website.
