The drop-ins offer veterans a safe space to connect, share experiences and access valuable resources in a friendly and supportive environment.
Voluntary Action Swindon has a dedicated Veteran support navigator who will be on hand to provide assistance with any queries or concerns and guide you towards the relevant services.
We previously delivered a digital skills workshop to Veterans, which ended in December 2024.
These sessions were funded through The Good Things Foundation Digital Inclusion Network and were aimed at enhancing confidence with technology.

The drop-ins offer veterans a safe space to connect, share experience s and access valuable resources and Service Providers in a friendly and supportive environment. Supported by our funder The Veterans’ Foundation, Voluntary Action Swindon has a dedicated Veteran Support Navigator who will be on hand to assist with any queries or concerns and guide you towards the relevant services.

- The Veterans Support Drop-in is held every last Tuesday of the month and is located at Sanford House, Swindon SN1 1HE.
- The times for the drop-ins are 11:30-14:30. Veterans are welcome to come along, stay for the whole session or just drop in and leave when needed.
- During the veteran’s drop-in, there is a selection of complementary refreshments available which are suitable for most dietary requirements.

New Veteran Support Navigator –
We welcome Chris having served 22 years and reaching the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1 and over 15 years working in the charity sector.

Willowbrook View Care Home –

We are building ideas to help veterans use their valuable skills within the local community. One of the projects currently being planned is helping dementia patients in a brand-new luxury care home to benefit from conversations and story telling with veterans.
