Nebuliser & Respiratory Equipment Donation & Support Service

We support people with Asthma and a wide range of other respiratory related conditions

Asthma Relief is a successful small charity registered with the Charity Commission since 1997.

We are looking for new trustees to join our dedicated team, to help us continue our mission to support people with asthma and other respiratory illnesses in the Swindon and throughout the UK.

The Role:

Voluntary Trustees (Unpaid)

Trustees play a very important role in ensuring that the Charity is run in the interests of the people it is there to support. Trustees have overall control of the Charity and are responsible for making sure it is doing what it was set up to do.

You do not need previous governance experience – trusteeship is open to everyone over the age of 18.  It is a great way of contributing to causes you care about and developing strategic and leadership skills at the same time.

The benefits

Being a trustee is rewarding – not only do you feel good helping people, but volunteering can help you gain valuable new experience and connections.

It is also an exciting opportunity to lend you experience to an important cause, putting your professional and personal skills into action to ensure the charity is reaching its goals and charitable objectives.

If you are interested in becoming at trustee or want to find out more, please contact Patricia Davis, Charity Manager, for an informal chat on 01793 524004 or Email: info@asthmarelief.org.uk
