Live Well, Knit Well volunteers – LiveWell Swindon

Live Well, Knit Well volunteers – LiveWell Swindon

If you enjoy knitting or crochet, why not become a Live Well, Knit Well volunteer and use your creative skill to make things that our residents’ needs. Our crochet and knitting volunteers make:

8 inch squares which are sewn together to make blankets

Hats, scarves and gloves

Children’s clothes

We donate all completed crafted items to Threshold, the homeless charity, older residents and residents of local homeless hostels as well as our free shop for those in our community that need some extra help to keep warm.

We offer our volunteers ongoing support with a monthly newsletter, drop-ins and regular talks and training.
