VAS is pleased to host this primarily virtual alliance (via Teams) of 60 + Swindon Voluntary Sector Leaders to:
- Support and encourage cross sharing of experience and information.
- Enable introductions and networking between sector professionals and organisations.
- Build stronger professional relationships across the sector.
- Gather and share intelligence and trends, challenges and opportunities.
- Enable consultation with and between the VCSE sector on (examples not exhaustive list):
- The developing BSW Integrated Care System and Swindon Integrated Care Alliance
- The BSW Community Services Mental Health Framework
- Place based and strength- based work
- Changes to services supporting people in Swindon
- Relevant national and local consultations/initiatives.
- Provide a platform for everyone to share new projects or models for mutual benefit
- Provide a platform for VAS to receive information and intelligence to enable us to better discharge our CVS role as the voice of the sector on various committees.
Practicalities and commitment
Roughly bi- monthly 1.5 hours meetings delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams.
Managed email communication for any urgent information sharing.
