Voluntary Action Swindon have been hosting a Veterans Support and Social drop in since October 2022. Since then, we have continued to hold monthly support hubs, which have now become more frequent and are now twice a month, every two weeks at the Dojo Coffee House.

The veterans support drop in offers a range of representation, including, Help for Heroes, NHS Op courage, Op NOVA, Veterans UK, Alzheimer’s Society, and many more.

Each drop in session gives opportunity to have direct access to multiple services which are mentioned above. Not only does the drop in serve as a support network, but also for social support and a chance meet other veterans, have a coffee and a chat with like minded people.

During each drop in, there is always opportunity to find out what events and activities are coming up and on offer for veterans and serving personnel. You can also ask our Veteran support Navigator about other groups that are designed for Veterans in Swindon.

With lots of service leaflets and information leaflets, you will be sure to find what your looking for.

New services are welcome to join at any drop in.

We at Voluntary Action Swindon are always willing to answer any of your questions, queries, or concerns.

October Key Dates

For men’s shed, which run weekly, from the 4th September onwards. (02,09,16,23,30 October)

Our veterans Support drop ins are happening on the 3rd October and the 17th October at The Dojo coffee house, Gypsy Lane, SN2 8YY
