Outdoor Education Instructor at Youth Action Wiltshire

Hours: 36.5 hrs per week, including regular evening, weekend, and school holiday work.
Salary: £23,166 gross per annum plus 7% employers pension contribution.
Location: The role is based at Oxenwood Outdoor Education Centre, with some outreach delivery at alternative venues throughout Wiltshire, including Linkenholt Countryside Adventure Centre.

Youth Action Wiltshire are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Outdoor Education Team. They are seeking to recruit a well organised and motivated individual who is dedicated to the personal development of young people through the provision of high-quality outdoor education activities.

The role focusses on designing and leading a range of high-quality outdoor education activities including to support young people to develop their self- confidence, self- esteem, and skills, as part of their day, multi-day and residential outdoor education service offer.

You will hold a range of relevant instructor’s awards, have experience and a passion for organising and delivering varied outdoor education group work activities. Be able to work flexible hours, relate to and inspire young people. Be creative, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

There role will include evening, weekend, and school holiday working.

Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
