Celebrate | Integrate | Connect

The first

The first gathering of its kind, the conference will bring
together leaders and managers from Swindon’s vibrant voluntary and community sector, along with key policy and decision makers from health & social care.

A diverse programme of keynotes, panel discussions, Q&A
sessions and exhibition stands – with plenty of time for networking – will ensure that everyone attending will make new contacts and gain fresh insights and knowledge.

A full conference programme is being finalised and will be online soon.

Due to space restrictions we are limiting tickets to two per organisation – please email us to receive your invitation to attend, along with booking details.

It’s going to be an amazing event and we’re looking forward to celebrating VAS’ 90th birthday at the event too.

We aim to provide this event free to Swindon’s voluntary sector and are seeking sponsors to support the event. Please get in touch – or share with any businesses which might like to support and connect with our local voluntary and community organisations.

Shuttle transport is being provided between Sanford House and the conference venue, and can be booked via the registration form.

Celebrate

Guest speaker Sir Robert Buckland MP will be one of many contributors helping to recognise and celebrate all that the voluntary sector does for and with the local community. With VAS celebrating its 90th birthday this year, the day will close with a festive tea party.

Integrate

Keynote speakers (including Sue Harriman, CEO at BSW Integrated Care Board), panel sessions and our display area will give key organisations an opportunity to show how they are meeting needs – developing and adapting to a society that is rapidly changing, with a focus on working together with the Integrated Care System.

Connect

The event will provide networking opportunities over coffee and lunch breaks. Panel sessions, table discussions as well as the display area will serve to introduce and connect several key players in Swindon’s voluntary sector. A specific focus will be to promote connection and partnership between voluntary organisations and statutory partners.

Hot drinks will be available throughout the day; a sit-down buffet lunch will be provided.
