Veterans Update September 2024
Voluntary Action Swindon continue to offer Veterans in Swindon a monthly support drop-in.
The drop-ins offer veterans a safe space to connect, share experiences and access valuable resources in a friendly and supportive environment. Voluntary Action Swindon has a dedicated Veteran support navigator who will be on hand to provide assistance with any queries or concerns and guide you towards the relevant services.
The Veterans Support Drop-in is held every last Tuesdays of the month and is located at Sanford House, Swindon SN1 1HE.
Veterans are welcome to come along, stay for the whole session or just drop in and leave when needed, the times for the drop-ins are 11:30-14:30

Recently our veterans enjoyed a day trip to Oxford Castle and Prison with thanks to the Zurich’s Summer challenge. The trip was a huge success, it was a fascinating day exploring the historic site, learning about its rich history and even hearing some thrilling stories from the past about some of the prisoners that were held at Oxford Castle and Prison. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a memorable outing.
For future activities, please sign up to our VAS ID, where details for future events will be released.
