Emma joined VAS as our Community Connector Team Leader in July 2026, as she enjoys creating positive change within communities with community members themselves. Previously, Emma worked in community building and belonging for the last 6 years in universities, ensuring that students voices were incorporated into services and support.

Elegia Antoine joined Voluntary Action Swindon as a Volunteer Coordinator in April 2026, supporting volunteering across the local community. Chris Offord

Chris joined VAS in 2025 as our Veterans Support Navigator. His role is to encourage the links between charities and organisations in local voluntary and community sector, statutory services and networks that provide support to military veterans. Chris spent 22 years in the army and over 15 years working in the voluntary sector.
Pooja Tomar

Pooja joined Voluntary Action Swindon in June 2025 as the Funding and Governance Manager; VCSE Integrated Care Strategic Lead. Shabbir Ahmad

Shabbir provides day to day support across all of the VAS services delivered at both Sanford House and Swindon Shopmobility. Shabbir also provides additional support at our John Street building as required.
Chris Hills

Chris is responsible for day to day maintenance tasks across our three buildings. He also assists with the setting up of room bookings in our Sanford House building. Chris also provides additional support to the team in Shopmobility during busier periods.
