Christmas Craft Fayre volunteers needed
Every six minutes someone is told they are losing their sight. In Wiltshire and Swindon, we estimate over 25,000 people are currently living with sight loss. Wiltshire Sight exists to make sure people living with sight loss across the county can access timely and appropriate support services and are empowered to lead the lives they want. Our Community Sight Loss Advisors are available at numerous hubs across the region to provide tailored information, advice and guidance and we also run a number of volunteer-led social groups.
This Christmas Craft Fayre will not only be a fun and festive event, it will also help to raise funds for our vital work across the county.
Date: Saturday, 23rd November 2024
Time: 1pm – 4pm (Volunteers to arrive at 12.30pm). If volunteers can only commit to an hour from 12.30-13.30, that would still be a great help.
Venue: Swindon Central Community Centre, Emlyn Square, SN1 5BP
This is a fun, festive day filled with holiday spirit, community vibes, and a celebration of local talent. There will be numerous craft stalls and Wiltshire Sight will have three tables, running a Lucky Dip and Tombola, selling Handbags, Scarves and Christmas Cards, and possibly a cake sale too. We require friendly, outgoing individuals to help run the stalls, make teas and coffees, talk about our work, and generally support the smooth running of the event. All for a great cause.
