Chair of the Wiltshire Children and Families Voluntary Sector Forum

£3,000 Honorarium per annum
Based: Home based

Are you passionate about the voluntary sector in Wiltshire? Do you want to help shape and support the future of children and family’s voluntary sector support across the county? The chance to chair the Wiltshire Children and Families Voluntary Sector Forum may be the exact opportunity you are looking for.

The Children and Families Voluntary Sector Forum (CFVSF) supports voluntary sector groups and organisations working with children and families throughout Wiltshire and helps to represent their needs to key decision makers at Wiltshire Council. As the chair of the Wiltshire CFVSF you would help to facilitate this group and be a spokesperson for the sector.

A successful candidate for this post may have previously led a voluntary sector group or worked closely with voluntary sector partners in the South West. You will be a confident collaborator who is happy to both challenge and be challenged.

Don’t worry, you won’t be alone. The CFVSF receives administration support from Wessex Community Action and you will have an executive group to support you in your role.

It is anticipated that this role may take up to 1-2 days a week so we are happy to recognise this through an annual honoraria payment of £3,000.

To apply for this position please send your CV and a brief covering letter which outlines how you meet the criteria for the post to admin@cfvsf.org

If you have any further questions or would like to discuss the post further, please contact Tony Griffin on chair@cfvsf.org

Closing Date: 17th June 2021
