How to ‘Sell’: Free Sales & CRM Training for Swindon Charities

Free sales and CRM training opportunity for the Swindon charitable and voluntary community.

Date: TBC.

Venue: eBECS Training Suite, South Marston Park, Swindon.

Free sales training will be available in the new year for any interested organisations and individuals within the Swindon charitable and voluntary community.

Although it may feel at odds with charities’ day-to-day work, ‘selling’ and good customer relationship management (CRM) are critical factors in running a successful charity. Apart from the obvious and actual selling of goods in charity shops, for example, there are several other ways in which charities can benefit from utilising sales and CRM techniques:

Packaging and selling your story to potential funders and getting ‘buy-in’; Showcasing the work you do to demonstrate impact; Getting your foot in the door and forging new and prosperous relationships with local business; Building and strengthening existing relationships to ensure continued and increased support; Converting or ‘upselling’ opportunities to maximise income potential.

All of the above is ultimately about generating more interest, support and income for the charitable work you do, enabling you to make a greater difference with your beneficiaries.

Training will be delivered by Sales Executives from eBECS, who have kindly offered to deliver and host this session for free at their bespoke training facility in South Marston. eBECS are the 4-time winners of “Microsoft Dynamics Reseller of the Year UK”, are a global Microsoft Partner, have offices spread across the globe and an annual business turnover of £30m+.

To register an interest in this training opportunity, please email Mike Smith at West Swindon Family Centre on mike.smith@westswindoncc.org

Mike will work with all interested parties to help uncover what particular aspects of sales and CRM training would be most beneficial and liaise with eBECS with the aim, wherever possible, to shape the training to fit the need.
