SMASH Job Vacancies

Since 1999 SMASH has been bringing children and young people together with willing and committed volunteers who can support, advise and listen to them in a sustained long term mentoring relationship. Giving young people at risk the chance to become everything they can be, sometimes when no one else believes that they can.

Building Bridges Case Manager

£25,549 – including pension allowance – 4 days per week

(Possible FT role available)

In a role jointly funded by the Big Lottery and The European Social Fund, the successful candidate will be managing a caseload of volunteer mentors and young people. From recruiting, training and supervising volunteers to assessing, supporting, monitoring and recording the progress of the young people, the post holder will be responsible for all aspects of the Building Bridges project delivery. This includes liaising and working with other Building Bridges partners. The post holder will be a self starting individual, have a relevant qualification, supervisory experience and will have worked with young people in a similar role

The closing date for applications is 9am Monday 19th September 2016 with interviews taking place on Friday 23rd September 2016.

Administrator

£8,043 (including pension allowance) working 2 days per week

Also jointly funded by the Big Lottery and The European Social Fund the successful candidate will be organised and conscientious, performing a vital role within the SMASH team. The role includes record keeping, and maintenance of monitoring systems, preparing documents and taking care of all administrative processes to do with volunteers and young people alike. The successful candidate will have good IT and communication skills and be qualified to at least GCSE standard in Maths and English.
