Independence Project Coordinator at Swindon Advocacy Movement
Hours: Full time / Part Time (Flexible working available including job share opportunity)
Salary: £19,500 to £21,700 depending on experience.
Swindon Advocacy Movement (SAM) has a well established reputation of providing a range of advocacy services for people with learning disabilities in Swindon. We are passionate about speaking out for the most vulnerable in our society and offer flexible and responsive services enabling people to access their rights within health and social care.
SAM has the exciting opportunity to deliver a new innovative social inclusion service which will enable and empower adults with learning disabilities to develop skills for independent living, build confidence and access opportunities in the community.
They are now looking for dynamic project coordinators to develop and facilitate this work.
Do you have experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities to become more independent? Have you facilitated groups for adults with learning disabilities to access the community? If so, we want to hear from you to join our committed and friendly team!
They need a non-judgemental, compassionate, person with excellent communication skills who enjoys working with others to make positive change happen.
