Big Potential Swindon: Social Investment Explained
Big Potential is a BIG Lottery Fund grant fund which will deliver approximately £20m of grant funding over 3 years to eligible Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations. Big Potential aims to improve the sustainability, capacity and scale of VCSE organisations.
Swindon is hosting an event about Big Potential on Tuesday 1st December. If you are considering applying to Big Potential, this event will help you to understand more about the grant programme and your own eligibility for funding.
The event will consist of workshops on the themes of loan finance, crowd funding, social impact, and Big Potential’s own diagnostic tool, which can be used to determine if you are investment ready. There will be talks from Social Enterprise UK and Social Investment Business, including Q&A sessions. The event is delivered in partnership with Social Enterprise UK, SEQOL and VAS.
The event takes place on Tuesday 1st December, from 9:30am – 3:30pm, at The National Self Build & Renovation Centre, Lydiard Fields, Great Western Way, SN5 8UB. To see the agenda and book onto the event, please go here. For more information about Big Potential, see the Big Potential website here.
