£18,000 Grants to Fund New Websites for Charities
The Transform Foundation has recently launched a new grant programme, which will be providing £18,000 grants to a select number of non-profits, to fund the design and build of a new website for them. The grant covers 100% of the upfront costs – your organisation will only need to fund ongoing costs.
The grant will include a range of cutting edge tools for engaging with supporters and service users as well as the costs of the strategy, design and training required to get the website up and running.
The grant programme is mostly focused on non-profits with between £0.5m – £20m annual income, although organisations outside of this range are welcome to apply. The grant programme is aimed at small to medium-sized charities and other not for profit organisations with a social mission (including, for example Community Interest Companies).
Stage 1 applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and deadlines for the subsequent stages will be communicated during the application process.
The grant process should take no more than a month from application to start. It’s divided into two stages:
Fill out a simple 15-question application in less than 10 minutes. There’s no commitment if you decide to pull out of the process. The Foundation will review your application over a week, and get in touch to let you know the outcome.
You’ll have an in-depth, one-hour meeting (in person or online) with the Foundation’s partners for this grant, Raising IT, to look at technical and cultural fit for high impact. After this meeting, they will send an impact summary report to the Foundation, as a Stage 2 application.
You’ll hear about whether you are successful usually within 14 days of the Stage 2 application.
You can apply for the grant here, or discover more information about it on the Transform Foundation website.
